Madonna ‘makes pricey hotel request’

Madonna has been dating the French dancer since September, when he performed at the launch of her clothes range. She asked for her hotel room to be overhauled for a one-night stay in Berlin with her partner Brahim Zaibat, 24.

Before the pair booked into Soho House in the German capital, her team reportedly sent a list of requests totaling £15,000.

Madonna Amendments Malawi school plans

A plan to build a girls-only school in Malawi has been canceled by singer Madonna as a result of logistical problems and other concerns.

Singer project leader confirms that singer now plans to build many more school with different educational groups.

Trevor Neilson said Madonna's new plan would allow Raising Malawi to educate "10 times" the children initially targeted.

Singer Initially wants to build a girl school in Malawi as she is of the view that girls get lesser chance to go to school.

"Obviously, Raising Malawi didn't know anything about this, and was surprised, yet Raising Malawi paid those people over 130,000 dollars (£80,697), which in Malawi is a lot of money," Mr Neilson said.

Even after that, he said, Raising Malawi never got title to the land. In addition, he said the school was being built in an area where there were not many children, and too much effort was being put into the design of the building.

"Madonna was shocked to find out how much time and money had been spent on architecture," he said, though declining to give an exact estimate, simply saying "Too much!"
