Madonna to Premiere 'W.E.' at Cannes Film Festival


The Festival de Cannes in May will not be screening Madonna’s feature film W.E,according to IMGlobal, the sales agent that is handling the film.

On the other side,a French newspaper confirms on Thursday that the film would appear at the festival.

The feature film producer Madonna's movie is still in progress and it might not be completed in time for Cannes and is instead aiming for a bow on the fall film circuit.

Madonna is expected to visit Berlin next month to host a private screening of select footage for foreign distributors attending the European Film Market.

Katy Perry Slams ‘Blasphemous’ Madonna

Some of the Queen of Pop's shows are borderline blasphemous claimed by Katy Perry hitting out Madonna.

In 2008 Madonna appeared on stage, on her ‘Confessions’ tour,as well as of course being famous for her 1989 hit single “Like A Prayer”.

Katy, whose family are devout Christians said: “For me, spirituality is something very important and I don’t like it when people take it lightly.

“At times, I don’t understand why there are artists who play that card, like when Madonna gets up on a cross to sing.”

The 25-year old, who previously claimed on Twitter that "Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke."

Perry revealed: "Russell has made very blasphemous jokes in the past, but he's making fewer all the time because he knows that I am very sensitive about this subject."

Madonna 'restructuring Malawi charity'


To enlarge the scope of her charity Raising Malaw,Madonna has revealed his plans for it.

Along with Micheal Berg in 2006,the popstar - who founded the organisation in order to support children orphaned by HIV and AIDS - revealed in a statement that she is in the process of "implementing several changes" to reach more children in the African country.

Currently Madonna in collaboration with Global Philanthropy Group CEO Trevor Neilson to help her reach her goals for Raising Malawi and hopes that the partnership will allow the charity to move forward with "more efficiency".

"This is a larger challenge than I thought, but I welcome it. We are focused on an approach which builds schools within communities across the country," she explained.

"We are currently determining the size, location, staffing and curriculum of the schools. I will continue to monitor the process of reaching these goals here and through my ongoing visits to Malawi."

According to reports Madonna is currently considering to move back UK.

Ex-husband Guy Ritchie is encouraging,The Queen of Pop Madonna, to leave US because he wants their son Rocco to have an English education.

Madonna already owns a £7million house in Marylebone, London, and a Wiltshire mansion,according to reports.But she is believed to be on the hunt for a new home that doesn’t come complete with memories of her failed marriage

A friend told the newspaper, ‘Guy wants their son Rocco to be schooled in the UK, so he’s encouraging Madonna to move back.

‘She’s keen and has looked at properties in London’s Notting Hill. But she also loves Scotland.’

Madonna has been mentioned Britain's most written-about celebrity, beating Simon Cowell and Victoria Beckham to the first spot.

The singer's name has been written in British print media 46,017 times since 2000, according to research by Kantar Media.

And X Factor mogul Cowell came in a relatively close second, with 29,888 mentions over the past 10 years.
